Live Rooms

Each recording room at HOFA-Studios is equipped with variable acoustic elements by HOFA-Akustik. No matter which room you choose, line of sight to three adjacent rooms is provided, in order to enable uncompromising parallel recording setups. Due to the excellent acoustic separationall rooms are perfectly suitable for live recordings.

Large Recording Room

  • 120 m², 7 m high, oak parquet, stone walls, more than 100 diffusors on the walls and the ceiling
  • the ideal location for recordings with both depth and definition
  • Steinway & Sons model C grand piano
  • movable walls with different materials and surfaces enable highly flexible acoustics

  • 20 m², 4 m ceiling height, asymmetrical shape, oak parquet
  • frames on the walls and the ceiling with exchangeable diffusors and absorbers provide highly controllable and perfectly balanced acoustics
  • ideal for vocal recordings (singer and speaker), instrumental overdubs and loud signals that should not interfere
  • the direct visual contact with the adjacent live rooms and control room A allows various parallel setups for recordings without compromises
  • perfectly suited for live recordings with acoustic separation and isolation

Recording room B

  • 18 m², 4 m ceiling height, asymmetrical shape, oak parquet
  • frames on the walls and the ceiling with exchangeable diffusors and absorbers provide highly controllable and perfectly balanced acoustics
  • ideal for vocal recordings (singers and speakers), instrumental overdubs, bass and guitar cabinets, etc.
